Recap to 2008

2008 has been quite a year for The Diffenbaughs. We have had so much joy and at the same time alot of pain and sorrow. Im thankful for alot though this year and figured I would share my blessings with you all. We spent January-March planning our wedding and picked a sooner date than we originally thought of which meant alot of planning was done quickly by me. In April we got married with a small number of our family and friends to help us celebrate in Las Vegas which was so fun. June 15 changed our lives forever, it was Father's Day and the day we found out I was pregnant. July also changed our lives forever on the 21st we lost our little baby which was extremely hard for us but made us a stronger couple and stregthened our bond even more. We found out in August that my mom had cervical cancer which was hard on our family as well. In September we started TTC again and my mom started her battle with cancer with numerous tests and plans being made. By the end of September my mom underwent surgery to have the cancer removed which was successful. October more tests were run on my mom and we found out that she beat the cancer and that it was in remission. November brought us good news with another BFP but a week after that we experienced m/c number 2, there is a silver lining there though we found an OB Jason and I both like alot and our new OB is very proactive with helping us get a "sticky" baby, he has me taking baby aspirin and extra folic acid and starting progesterone supplement as soon as we get anothe BFP, we also found out that Im Rh negative and that I should have had a Rhogam shot in July but I got one in November and at least now we know. December has been a long month, we were able to take a trip up north with my family and spend some time in the snow which was so much fun.

To sum things up we are hoping that 2009 will be an even better year and that it will bring us a wonderful one year anniversary and a healthy baby in the fall/winter. We hope all of you have a wonderful 2009 and many years to come.
